Sunday Seven Bucket List

Sunday Seven image

A list of seven of something- brought to you on Sunday.

Bucket List blog hop by @susannedrazic

Seven items on my Bucket List

  1. The high fantasy novel I’m working on – Finish it, publish it, and sell 2,000 copies in one week or 8,000 copies in one month.
  2. Watch a meteor shower while in the Cranberry Lake area of New York or Cherry Springs State Park in Pennsylvania. (USA)
  3. Visit Mount Sinai.
  4. Skydive. (Though I’d probably only do this if I was really sure I was going to die soon, because I feel certain that I’ll break a leg or worse, and I’d like to avoid more physical therapy.)
  5. Learn how to play checkers. (Any teaching volunteers?)
  6. Take a hot-air balloon ride over Maine. (USA)
  7. Have dinner at Armando al Pantheon in Rome. (Italy) (The Pearl Barley soup with lentils, mushrooms, black truffle, and tomato sounds good. Guinea fowl with Porcini Mushrooms and Black Beer also sounds tasty. Tiramisu ‘all’Armando with Berries — oh yes, that’s an experience which my mouth requires. Mmm.)

Speaking of setting goals… CHECK OUT THIS BLOG HOP! Sure, monthly or yearly goal setting is not the same as a bucket list, but it can lead to checking off those lifetime achievements!
What one thing do you think I should add to my list?

Have you done any of these things?

Do you have a bucket list?

  1. Good morning! You have some awesome things listed on your bucket list. It’s been awhile since I’ve played checkers. Have a wonderful day!

    1. I’m cool with the sky part. I’m good with the dive part. It’s the “landing” bit that keeps me from going, cause I’m pretty certain that’ll be a lasting pain requiring therapy, casts, maybe surgery. LOL.

  3. A hot-air balloon ride would be fun! Nice list!!!

    1. It sounds like a lot until you start reading stats. And hey, it is a bucket list, not a “I fully expect this to happen now” list. 😉 Thanks for stopping by.

As brave as I always think I am, skydiving might be in the same “think” zone as you, however, eating in Rome sounds wonderful!

  6. Thanks for participating in the blog hop! You and I can go skydiving together – it’s on my list, too. I would teach you checkers. It’s pretty easy. (Hot air balloon rides are awesome. I did one for my 21st birthday.)

I was taught my a champion checkers player – my grandmother! Even when I was little, she never gave me a break; she was pretty competitive and I got really good 🙂

I haven’t played checkers in ages…and I’m thinking now, that I should’ve added “learn to play chess properly & technically” to my list!

Looks like a pretty succinct list. I think I’ll make one one of these days. Might take pages, though 🙂

If you list has many pages, you must demand to live a long time so as to accomplish all of it. 🙂

  12. I love that you added play checkers on your bucket list. I have over 200 items on my bucket list but I never thought of adding a game. So when I read that I thought, I hmm what game…I always wanted to learn how to play cribbage!

    Anyone can teach me cribbage?
