Update of Goals, Dreams, and Plans

goals image
Here are my current goals and review of goals from the past:

It isn’t enough just to have a good list of goals. There also has to be a plan, some way to execute them. I feel strongly about my reading goals. Last year I didn’t keep track of everything I read, and I sometimes failed to write reviews (especially for well-known authors). Determined to change this, I’ve become active in two fantasy book clubs, and added another reading challenge into the mix. (It’s the #firstreads one, and it goes along with the New To You one, so that’s cool.)

You have good goals, and I like that you’ve broken them down to help you get there. It’s also good to see you have a plan. I’m a firm believer in goals needing a plan, but lately I haven’t been making solid plans for my goals. Your post has inspired to me to look at this again.

What do you do to keep on top of it all? I’m lucky if I manage a couple writing goals per month.

By the way: Thanks for following my blog!

Three reading challenges? Whew! That’s epic. I’m a total do-it-yourself-er when it come to reading challenges. Of course, I’ve started reviewing books again, which is something I’ve been wanting to do since the beginning of the year, so there’s progress, eh?

I’m wishing you much success with your goals!

You’re so right about not only setting those goals, but having a plan for implementing. Send me yours for surviving another 40 years. Not the plan, the implementation.

I echo Bill Murray’s sentiment. You are one busy person! Quite inspiring, as sometimes I feel overwhelmed but an Excel sheet and a timer are two great tools for getting s*** done 🙂
