I’d like to take a moment to ask for your help. I’ve entered a writing contest. There is a popular vote– where entrants are supposed to ask friends to vote. You CAN vote for MORE THAN ONE entry. I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy “Chocolate Covered Toffee or Vanilla Taffy” enough to give me a vote for it. VOTING CLOSES FRIDAY EVENING, October 30.

There are several books that I finished or nearly finished reading. I need to get reviews written for them before I can post about that. The next six weeks will include far more time as a patient than I’d like, but my survival goal is still in place. If you’re the type to cross your fingers, pray, wish on a star, or whatever- my health is in no position to decline any positive energy boost that can be put out there. That’s all I’ll say about that. Resuming happier thoughts in 3…2…1…

You’re always so good at hitting those goals every month. I wish I was so constant with mine.

Good luck with NaNo. I’m giving it another bash, but I’ve not even planned for it yet, and it starts tomorrow – oops!

    1. It takes a lot of desire. I’m very demanding of myself.

  3. I voted. Good luck! And I’ll be rooting for everyone from the sidelines during NaNo. Still in the middle of revisions, so I can’t participate.

  4. Good luck with NaNo, and keep plugging away at that rewrite. Good luck with the contest too. Loved the short story – although it made me hungry, because I’m on another diet! Voted and hope you win.

  5. I’m so sorry I missed the vote! I would have loved to help out. *sigh* I’m sending positive vibes for NaNo. I don’t NaNo, but I fully support everyone who does.

      1. Crazy awesome. Way too many deadlines before the end of the year, but hey, we survive, eh?
