I do like stats. I wish I had blogged consistently enough in 2015 for my stats to carry any real meaning. I’ve been debating whether or not to publish a post explaining my extended absence. It began with NaNo, but it looks as though a multitude of factors will extend my hiatus. Ordinarily, when I take a break, it’s only from blogging and I’m still able to visit with others, at least from time to time on Twitter and various other social media platforms. Unfortunately, I think I may have to be away from all social medial for a while. I will be able to check in and read what all of you kind, wonderful, and informative people have to say. I’ve grown so fond of so many of you. I just won’t be in a position that will allow me to interact on a daily basis. I don’t know how long it will be until I can get back to social media, but I can’t neglect some very serious and crucial issues in my life right now. I won’t go into all the specifics, but I have to put my family’s health, my own health and my career first for a while and tend to some matters before I can get back into social media. I will miss you and so many others. I feel like I should explain it to people, but it’s been a while since I’ve posted consistently, so maybe I should just leave it as it is. Your post with numbers and stats just reminded me of the very tough decision my family and I came to over the holidays. I love your blog posts and tweets and your book and I will miss you, but I will check in as often as I can. Take care and I wish you the very best and a super successful 2016.
