If I were a Survey

Denise Covey had this up on her blog. So I’m filling out.

Do it quickly without over-thinking it.

– If I were a season, I’d be autumn.

– If I were a month, I’d be November.

– If I were a day of the week, I’d be Wednesday.

– If I were a time of day, I’d be midnight.

– If I were a planet, I’d be Jupiter.

– If I were a direction, I’d be North by Northwest.

– If I were a tree, I’d be an oak.

– If I were a flower, I’d be a venus flytrap.

– If I were a fruit, I’d be a Granny Smith apple.

– If I were a land animal, I’d be a lion.

– If I were a sea animal, I’d be a sea anemone.

– If I were a bird, I’d be a bluejay.

– If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be an end table.
– If I were a liquid, I’d be liquid nitrogen.
– If I were a stone, I’d be marble.

– If I were a kind of weather, I’d be a hurricane.
– If I were a musical instrument, I’d be drum.
– If I were a color, I’d be orange.
– If I were a facial expression, I’d be confusion with a raised eyebrow.

– If I were an emotion, I’d be ambivalence.

– If I were a sound, I’d be an annoying buzz that you can’t find.

– If I were an element, I’d be air.

– If I were a car, I’d be some sleek new sports car that’s limited edition.

– If I were a food, I’d be honey.

– If I were a place, I’d be a forest.

– If I were a flavor, I’d be java.

– If I were a scent, I’d be rain.

– If I were an object, I’d be an important switch on the International Space Station.

– If I were a song, I’d be the Harry Potter theme song. (Do do do do doo dooo dooo do do do…)
– If I were a pair of shoes, I’d be old school high tops with lights and fluorescent laces.
– If I were transportation, I’d be a taxi in Chicago.

– If I were a fairy tale, I’d be the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood.
– If I were a holiday, I’d be April Fools.
– If I were a novel, I’d be YOU CANNOT ASK A WRITER THIS QUESTION!!!
– If I were a movie, I’d be Die Hard.

  1. What a fun survey! I laughed at the second to last question. You totally can’t ask a novelist that! 🙂

  3. Ha! I love this. Doing it right now. 🙂
Mhm, I love the smell of rain and the sound of it…best way to go to sleep. Also *high five* on the Granny Smith choice. My sister always wonders why I prefer the sharp flavor, but I do. Favorite apple ever! I’m no McIntosh girl that’s for sure.
