My two reviews are below. On my sidebar, I centered the WHAT-ARE-THEY video, reordered some widgets, and added the date for the next Bout of Books. I added the Debut Authors page so those folks could reach me easier. I contacted Roxanne.
I’ll spend the weekend visiting/ commenting and checking out the sites (which were recommended in the book tour book).

This book really explains virtual booktours, what they are, how to prepare for one, what to expect from one, and why to do one. It also explains guest posting and how to make it work for your author brand. It’s well thought-out and easy to read. I’m really glad that I got this ebook. I’d recommend it to debuting authors as well as those about to publish for the umpteenth time.

The first 13% is all valuable information that will make you a better writer if you implement it. There are great tips such as “the setting in each scene should be unique and memorable” and “conflict needs to be recurring and frequent while varying in intensity.” The settings each have something for all five primary senses, people found there, potential conflicts, related settings, tips, and examples. A wonderful reference guide that could also be used for writing prompts. The high school tastes section raised my eyebrow, but I had more homeschooling than traditional schooling, so I’m no expert there. Do school busses have seatbelts? For the cave, I’d add “cave blindness” as a conflict and add spelunker to the list of people. The book’s appendixes are very nice.

I hadn’t heard of Tsu before. It sounds…interesting.
Also, I’ve totally been on the fence about X-Men Apocalypse, but I’ve recently remembered how good every other Bryan Singer directed X-Men movie was.

Tsu is one I didn’t sign up with. It didn’t strike my fancy or whatever.

I review 5 to 8 books a month, but that’s because I read that many. I mean., what kind of author writes books for a living and doesn’t pass on the love?

I love those blog goals. It’s taken me years and years to get my blog to where I like it, and I still periodically change things.

Great interview with Tamara. I COMPLETELY agree on all the food questions. Yup.

I’d fail to review a few years ago. But I’ve gotten better! Though I do read more than one book at a time, and sometimes some of those get left in a backpack or something and I forget. Whoops. But I’ve worked at getting better!

I’m glad you liked my mini goals for the one day hop/ event. It was fun.
