#BoutOfBooks 19 Read-a-Thon #RAT post 4 Fictional Dating Profile for Heath

I’m taking part in the Bout of Books 19 Read-a-thon number 19 from May 8 to 14.

You may even find a challenge over there created by yours truly! (May 9)

#boutofbooks 19 is in May 2017

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 8th and runs through Sunday, May 14th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 19 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

(Note= While I’ve been a BoB expert in the past, I didn’t sign up this time due to A to Z burnout. I will volunteer again in the future.)

Character Dating Profile

Create a dating profile for your favourite literary character. Where are they from? What are they looking for? What are their likes and dislikes?

Thanks to Liz Whitehouse for today’s challenge.

The character I’ve chosen is Heath from my Existence books (not yet published).

I’m 24, single, living in New York, NY ripped a trite bit fickle and get feisty on occasion
I love my “job.”
Willing to Lie About Where We Met
I like rowing, rock climbing, and going to the movies, making a great meal, or bars.
Honesty is a trait I look for in my friends and partners.

What I’d like:
Single (or looking to bring a friend).
18 – 75
Over 4 ‘ 7 ” ~ Under 6 ‘ 6 ”
I’m an equal opportunity dater.
Ready to take a road trip to meet up.
Respectful, open-minded, laid-back, funny, honest.
Kids aren’t a dealbreaker.
I’m your rock to lean on, but just for a night or weekend.

Glass Sword (Red Queen #2) by Victoria Aveyard = page 372 of 444.

I only managed to read 40 pages on Wednesday. I barely had an hour to focus.

He sure sounds like a winner 😉
    Find on Twitter:

    1. He’s a bit of the comic relief… until a later book when he might just cause some hearts to shatter. I’m mean. Mean, mean, author! LOL.

This is my first bout of books! I am having so much fun. I like your guy, seems like a cool dude until I read what you wrote in your reply to Karen LoL!

I saw that you said something about A to Z in your post what is that? I’m just curious. I’m kinda new to all this and looking to get out there and meet new people!!!

    1. Thanks for commenting!
He is a very cool dude, which is why I almost feel bad about how much I torture him. Almost.

The A to Z blogging challenge is a month long event held every April. Hundreds of bloggers (all variety and genre of bloggers) write posts (of every kind) using the alphabet as the guide. (The letter A has posts about Akita dogs, the Alps, books and movies with the letter A, flash fiction with an A word, photographs of objects that start with A, etc etc etc.) As a blog hop, we visit each other’s blogs to comment and share. It’s a community. The challenge is a lot of fun. It’s like a blogger marathon, and we all collapse at the end, celebrating our victory with zzzz for naps. 😉

Okay, I see how the character dating profile works now! He seems pretty cool to me – I wouldn’t mind a meet-up 🙂 Thanks for sharing your great stuff here.

And I wish I’d known about the a to z challenge! I would totally have been in on it. Shame it only runs once a year because I’ll probably have forgotten by then 😛

Gonna take a look at all your posts now (though I should be writing some reviews myself…)

    1. I feel I can speak for the character (lol), he’d enjoy meeting you, too.
I assure you that my blog will mention it several times before it kicks off again next year. Stay tuned and you won’t miss out. 😉
