#BoutOfBooks 19 Read-a-Thon #RAT post 7 Book Review

I’m taking part in the Bout of Books 19 Read-a-thon number 19 from May 8 to 14.

You may even find a challenge over there created by yours truly! (May 9)

#boutofbooks 19 is in May 2017

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 8th and runs through Sunday, May 14th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 19 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

(Note= While I’ve been a BoB expert in the past, I didn’t sign up this time due to A to Z burnout. I will volunteer again in the future.)

MY DAY 6 PROGRESS

Book Review

(I’m being a bit generous with the word “book” here as it’s a 4-page PDF short story.)
Wider Still and Wider by Curtis Bausse 4 star rating image on the blog of @JLenniDorner

This story is a clever and humorous improvisation on the children’s song about the old woman who swallowed a fly. It was given to me as a free bonus short story when I bought Cat Tales from Bausse’s site directly.
This author is one I’ve not read before. #NewToMe2017
And, considering what the person swallows, I’m going to mark it as Speculative Fiction and Fantasy. #FlightsOfFantasy #SpecFic
And, given there was only one non-anthology title listed under this author’s name, I’m fairly confident in also calling him a Debut Author, ticking one more box on my reading goals list.

This sounds like fun – I’ll have to keep an eye out for it for next year!
