Tackle Your TBR Readathon 2018 #TackleTBR
Tackle Your To-be-Read Read-a-thon 2018

Today’s Challenge:

Punchbowl of books!

List three to five books that “mix well together” even though they’re from different authors and maybe even different genres.

Why? Because it’s National Punch Day!

It’d be splended if you’d share this image with a quote from my book!

Having trouble thinking of some? Amazon is good with recommendations. Also, there’s whatshouldireadnext.

  2. This is such a fun challenge! I’m not entering, but here is my punch bowl:
Base: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery (this is just a solid classic that has a great mix of sad, happy, romance, and just every day life – a great “base.)
Citrus: This Quiet Sky by Joanne Bischof (this is such a good story that totally made me bawl and is on the shorter side – everything can’t end in perfectly tied packages, but this one still ended perfectly)
Sugar: Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson (this is what I turn to when I want to laugh and read something sweet)
Water: #Starstruck by Sariah Wilson (I picked this for water because it isn’t too deep, but still is a solid, well-developed story, with a romance I could drink up all day and over and over again)
Spice: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (this is a read with plenty of spice between its darker edge, the crazy plot, and serious danger – it’s even got a little spice in the romance department)

  3. base – Written in Red by Anne Bishop (the world-building is phenomenal)

citrus – Sweet Tea and Sympathy by Molly Harper (that cover makes me think of tea with lemon)

sugar – Starry Night by Debbie Macomber (a sweet romance)

water – On the Island by Tracy Garvis Graves (they’re stranded on an island surrounded by water!)

spice – Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost (urban fantasy that would blend well into Bishop’s world, with a spicy romance)
